Welcome to the chocolate hog. Here I aim to share with you my love for chocolate desserts,
especially the ones that include coffee or caramel. I have never been big on pastry desserts, bready (is that a real word?) desserts and fruity desserts. So for those of you looking for those and anything other than chocolate here, you are going to be sorely dissappointed. But if
chocolate is your thing, I will do my best to please!
I am going to start off the blog with a very easy hot chocolate recipe which is perfect for
Christmas time.
Ingredients:
400ml semi-skimmed milk
2 tbsp chocolate hazelnut spread (I use nutella)
50ml of double cream
cocoa powder for dusting
Method:
1. Heat the milk over a medium heat and when it starts to boil add the chocolate hazelnut spread. Stir with a whisk until incorporated.
2. Whip the cream by hand or using a mixer until soft peaks form.
3. Pour into two mugs, add a tablespoon of whipped cream and dust with cocoa powder.
Servings: 2
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 5 minutes
Total time: 10 minutes

Hmm…chocolate ♥. I already like your blog!
